Every week I talk to clients who are so ready to feel like themselves again — but they’ve got questions swirling around in their head before they’ll let themselves take the next step. Totally fair. So I figured, why make you wait?
Before we dive in…
Hi, I’m Beth—your friendly “let’s figure this out together” health coach. I’m a Nutritious Life Master Certified Coach, but more importantly, I work with real people living real lives who are tired of overthinking food and still not seeing results. Around here, we don’t rely on willpower or strict rules—we build habits that actually stick, using real food and a natural (patented) method to help manage hunger so you can feel in control again. It’s simple, personal, and designed to fit into your life (not take it over).
Here are the 10 questions I hear most, answered honestly. No fluff, no sales pitch — just real talk so you can decide if this feels right for you.
| 1. “Will this actually work for me, or is this just another program I’ll fail?” First of all — you didn’t fail those programs. They failed you. Most approaches only address the number on the scale without touching the real stuff: hunger patterns, hormonal shifts, stress, sleep, and decades of habits. What we do is work on all of it together, at a pace that fits your actual life. This isn’t about willpower. It’s about building a system that works for your midlife body — and then making it feel automatic. 2. “Is this safe at my age with my hormones/thyroid/medications?” Absolutely — and honestly, this is exactly why a personalized approach matters so much right now. I work with women navigating perimenopause, menopause, thyroid conditions, insulin resistance, all of it. I do a thorough intake before we start, and everything I do works with your body, not against it. I also always encourage you to keep your doctor in the loop — in fact, a lot of my clients come to me through their physicians. |
| 3. “What exactly is Sadkhin Therapy — and is it like acupuncture?” No needles, I promise! Sadkhin Therapy is a patented acupressure method that uses gentle pressure on specific points to naturally calm your body’s hunger signals. Think of it as giving your nervous system a reset around food — so that eating less doesn’t feel like white-knuckling it through cravings. It was developed by Dr. Gregory Sadkhin and has been used successfully for decades. It’s honestly one of my favorite things to explain because people are always so surprised by how well it works. 4. “Do I have to give up everything I love to eat?” Nope. And I wouldn’t ask you to, because you already know that doesn’t work. Instead, we shift how your body relates to food — your hunger cues, your portions, your patterns — so that over time, you naturally want less of the things that haven’t been serving you. Most of my clients are genuinely surprised by how satisfied they feel once their hunger regulation is working properly again. 5. “How long before I see results?” Most clients notice something shifting within the first ten days — less hunger, better energy, clothes fitting differently. But here’s what I want you to hold onto: the goal isn’t the fastest result, it’s the last result. I’d rather you lose 30 pounds over three months and never see them again than lose them in four weeks and find them again by New Year’s. |
| 6. “What happens after the program — will the weight come back?” This is the question that matters most. Weight comes back after most programs because nothing actually changed — people followed rules instead of building habits. My whole approach is designed so that by the time we’re done, you’re not “on a program” anymore. You’re just living differently. And I don’t disappear on you at the end — we build a transition plan, and I’m always here if life throws you a curveball. 7. “Does this work if I’m on — or coming off — a GLP-1 medication?” Yes — and this is actually one of the areas where I add the most value right now. GLP-1s can be a powerful tool, but they don’t teach your body or brain how to eat differently. When the medication stops, hunger comes back — and without new habits in place, so does the weight. Whether you’re currently on one or transitioning off, the goal is the same: build the habits and the hunger regulation so you’re in control. Not the medication. 8. “How much does it cost — and is it worth it?” I get the hesitation. You’ve invested in things before that didn’t deliver. So let me put it this way: when you work with me, you’re not getting a meal plan or a set of instructions. You’re getting me — someone who knows your history, your patterns, your life. I’m essentially an accountability partner in your pocket. When you’re standing in the kitchen at 9pm and old habits are whispering, I’m already the voice in your head because we’ve talked about exactly that moment. When you weigh that against another year of trying things that don’t stick — the investment looks very different. |
| 9. “Do I have to exercise a lot? Because honestly, I’m exhausted.” Not at all — and I take that fatigue seriously. For a lot of midlife women and men, exhaustion is a symptom, not an excuse. Pushing through with intense exercise before your body is ready can actually backfire. We start where you are and build movement in gently. As your nutrition stabilizes and your sleep improves, most clients find their energy naturally returns — and then movement becomes something they want, not something they force. 10. “What does working with you actually look like day to day?” It looks like having a plan designed specifically for you — your schedule, your food preferences, your health history, your life. Regular check-ins where we review what’s working and adjust what isn’t. Someone to reach out to when you’re confused, struggling, or just need a nudge. No app doing the thinking for you. No generic protocol you’re trying to squeeze yourself into. It’s personal, it’s responsive, and it’s built around the understanding that real change happens in the messy, everyday moments — not just during a weekly weigh-in.You’re not on your own with this. That’s the whole point. The Bottom Line You don’t have to figure this out alone, and you don’t have to keep starting over. If you’re ready to finally feel like yourself again — energized, comfortable in your clothes, and actually confident about your health — I’d love to talk.
