Post-Feast Reset

The turkey hasn’t even hit the table yet, but if you’re anything like me, you know how it feels after the feast: stuffed, bloated, and maybe even a little regretful about that third slice of pie. Sound familiar? Don’t worry—this year, we’re planning ahead to reset, recharge, and finish 2024 feeling incredible.

Picture this: heading into New Year’s Eve looking and feeling your absolute best. It’s possible—and it doesn’t involve waiting until January 1st to start setting goals. Let’s take control now and end the year strong!

The Post-Feast Reset is Coming!

Join me December 2nd-6th for a quick, effective 5-day reset. Just 15 minutes each morning to:

  • Shift gears after the holiday indulgence
  • Reignite healthy habits
  • Feel lighter, energized, and ready to tackle the rest of the year

It’s simple, manageable, and the perfect way to reset your body and mind before the holiday season ramps up.

Progress Over Perfection

A couple of months ago, I talked about setting small goals to stay on track through the chaos of life. Did you set some for yourself? How’s it going? Be honest—it’s okay if you haven’t been perfect. (Spoiler: I haven’t either!)

For me, it was limiting avocado (healthy fat, but those calories add up) and saving my wine (my favorite indulgence) for the weekends. Have I been perfect? Nope. But have I made progress? Absolutely.

Here’s the thing: perfection isn’t the goal—progress is. I love this quote by James Clear:

"Most daily actions evaporate; some accumulate."

Every small step you take toward your goals adds up over time. Even tiny changes can lead to big wins when you stay consistent.

Small Changes You Can Start Right After Thanksgiving

Here are a few simple, actionable steps to help you feel great after the big feast:

  • Add 3 minutes of squats or sit-ups to your day (even during a Netflix binge).
  • Trade soda for water or sparkling water with lemon.
  • Skip the weekday desserts and enjoy treats only on the weekends.
  • Scale back on those sugary Starbucks syrups (from 4 pumps to 1—you’ll survive, I promise!).
  • Take a brisk 10-minute walk after Thanksgiving dinner to jumpstart digestion.

What small step will you take to get back on track and finish 2024 strong?
